The talented Chicago rapper Saba has been at the helm of his Pivot Gang crew since their inception, but it’s been a while since we’ve heard them collaborate as a group. Pivot Gang last released their album You Can’t Sit With Us nearly five years ago, followed by the single “Aang” in 2022. Now, the crew is back together with a new track.
Saba’s most recent work included a series of collaborations with legendary Chicago producer No ID, which were building up to the release of a highly anticipated mixtape. Earlier this year, the mixtape featured the collaboration “head.rap” with Madison McFerrin, Ogi, and Jordan Ward, but details about the mixtape remain unclear.
In the meantime, fans can enjoy Saba reuniting with his Pivot Gang collaborators—Joseph Chilliams, MFnMelo, and Frsh Waters—on the energetic new single “Who At The Door.” The track showcases their collective talent, with each artist bringing their signature style and an undeniable hunger to the mix.
