South Carolina duo, For You Brother dropped their latest single “Father Help Us”, a heartfelt track is a heartfelt rock song about faith, doubt, exhaustion and the search for help when life becomes too difficult to make sense of.
The duo, which was built by John Davis and Phil Noah, two musicians whose partnership goes all the way back to middle school. Davis writes the music and handles the instruments while Noah writes and sings the vocals. On “Father Help Us”, that partnership does absolute magic.

Davis records the instruments first and sends the track to Noah who writes the lyrics and works on vocals. Once ready, they schedule the vocal recording. Davis also handles the mixing and mastering.
The story behind this song is not the complicated type and perhaps that’s the reason it resonates easily. The song sprung from a quiet moment when the noise of everyday life became too much.
