The Amanda Emblem Experiment has just released a new track called Ancient Dingo and it is a brilliant piece of work. More than a song, Ancient Dingo functions as a cultural reflection, a cautionary tale, and a wakeup call wrapped in some of the best production i have heard this year.
The Amanda Emblem Experiment started in 2017 in SE Queensland led by Amanda Emblem. an American songwriter who has become famous for songs that feels like an emotional journey. Her voice is a mixture of strong, and soft and the band features a lineup of Kelly King, Billy Adams, Scott Astill and Moses King.

The song was born on the sandy shores sparked by a camping holiday on K’gari (Fraser Island), a place of extraordinary natural beauty and cultural significance. Home to one of the last protected pure-bred Dingo populations, K’gari also attracts thousands of visitors each year, blending wildlife conservation with family tourism and off-road adventure. Despite extensive management strategies—dingo-proof fencing, public warnings, and ongoing education—incidents between humans and Dingoes continue to occur. It is within this uneasy coexistence that Ancient Dingo finds its emotional and conceptual foundation.
