In the present world we find ourselves, it’s rare to find an artist who is completely fearless. Most tracks on the Radio stay on the surface but The Rising Shine Project is doing something entirely different to change the narrative. The powerful musical project is driven by Henry Stoll, a Larence-vile based songwriter who stands out because he isn’t afraid to be vulnerable. Having spent forty years performing live music, he not only has the experience but the skill of writing the best songs and with this latest release, he shows us how much of a great songwriter he is.

Heal All Wounds means everything and it is an incredibly brave single that stares down one of the most devastating crises in modern society through the lens of a personal family tragedy. The song was inspired by the heartbreaking loss of Stoll’s adopted middle son, who died from a fentanyl overdose just weeks before turning 25. He also left behind a young daughter who will now grow up without her father. That tragedy sits at the center of this song, and you can feel the weight of it in every lyric and every note.
This song was created from a place of deep emotion and connection. Stoll got the idea to write this song while driving to work one faithful day and he finished the track the moment he got home and picked up his guitar. According to Stoll, he came up with the line while driving to work and quickly recorded it into his phone so he would not forget it. Later that same day, a coworker randomly told a story about a lake house being moved and all the windows breaking during the process. For Stoll, it felt like a sign that this song needed to be finished.
The music perfectly balances a profound sense of sadness with a flash of righteous anger; all held in one piece by the Love of a father and a grandfather. There’s a line in the song that holds such emotional weight “What’s a promise worth, if it remains unspoken? What good’s a house of dreams with all windows broken?”
This kind of lyric makes you pause for a while and think deeply. The words may be simple, but they hit hard when you think about it because of the heavy emotion it carries behind it.

The recording process took place in Stoll’s home studio, which adds to the intimacy of the whole experience. He admits that writing the song came naturally once he picked up the guitar, but dealing with the emotions behind it was much harder. He even admitted that he still cannot fully sing the song himself because the subject matter is too painful.
Heal All Wounds feels spiritual than it seems on the surface. The vulnerability right there is something you don’t see often and this type of song connects easily with people who hear themselves in the story told. By sharing a personal experience, the artist creates a sense of connection for anyone going through pain and a reminder that you’re not alone through the journey. This message itself might just be the most important part of this release.
This piece is a beautiful touching mix of grief and pain completely stewed in a father’s love. Looking forward, Stoll is currently in the process of putting a new live band tpgether. He feels it is finally time to get back on stage and share these powerful songs with a live audience.
Heal All Wounds is not just music, it’s a tribute, an emotional journey and a comforting reminder that music can help us heal.
